Where to go? As shown in the map, there are several alternatives. As you can see, the dotted line makes twirls and goes in various directions and illustrates how much (or rather little) even we know about where this journey will take us. One thing is for certain though; we're going. We are hoping to get a bit further than Stad this time. (We attempted a trip to Shetland in the summer of 06, but had to abort due to seasickness.) But do not despair, -this time we have packed anti-seasickness band-aids and ginger root and lots of pills, so this time we are sure to make it at least to Stavanger and half way to England. The route will be decided as we go. What we have talked about the most is to celebrate Christmas in the Caribbean. And that we will be away for a year. After that we will just have to see if we choose to extend our plans and go for the Panama canal and the Pacific. In that case we'll be away for 3-4 years. Health, a happy crew, and economy will be crucial factors when it is time to decide.
